Usually when I begin to feel a cold or flu coming on it develops quickly into a full-blown illness in a matter of a few days. Typically such a cold of flu takes me at least two to three weeks to get over completely, and I usually have to spend at least a couple of days in bed to shake it. Often it moves into my chest and on a couple of occasions I ended up with pneumonia that had to be treated with antibiotics.

Recently, with just such a flu coming on, it was suggested by the staff of Dr. Lais Acupuncture Care Centre that I take Vital-Ai. I was skeptical at first, as I usually am when I hear glowing reports of cold and flu medications, but I agreed to give it a try.

Within 24 hours of starting to take Vital-Ai I felt significantly better. Within 48 hours my symptoms were virtually gone, with the exception of a bit of chest congestion that disappeared the next day as I finished the course of Vital-Ai. I didnt miss any work, and I didnt need to spend any sick time in bed.

I have been under the care of the doctors of the Canadian Family Acupuncture Care Centre since May of 2003. I have been undergoing treatment for breast cancer. I have also had a problem with a meridian that runs along my back for years, which I have been getting acupuncture for.
