What is the Traditional Chinese Medical theory on cancer?

Within Chinese medicine, an illness is created by energy imbalances in the body based on Yin/Yang theory of medicine.  TCM theory states that the two main areas of concern which lead to the development of cancer are Qi (energy) blockage and blood stagnation.  The blockage of Qi can itself cause blood stagnation and this is what results in physical changes.  The physical changes include the formation of cysts, abscesses and tumors.  Therefore the treatment of cancers will involve addressing the underlying Qi imbalance as well as the blood stagnation.

How does Dr. Lai’s ABC™ help cancer patients?

Dr. Lai’s ABC™ has shown to be very beneficial in the treatment of cancer patients who have aggressive tumors, but whose body is still in good condition. Based on Traditional Chinese herbal medicine, the primary function of Dr. Lai’s ABC™ is to inhibit angiogenesis and the secondary functions are to remove toxicity and to help boost the immune system to prevent infections.

In the clinical observational study, there were no negative interactions observed between Dr Lai's Ai-Shin™ and any pharmaceutical drug, nutritional supplement or Western conventional cancer treatments including both radiation and/or chemotherapy.  However, Dr. Lai’s ABC™ does have a very slight blood thinning effect; therefore if you are currently taking blood thinners, please monitor it carefullys.

Can you take Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ and/or Dr. Lai’s ABC™ when you are undergoing either chemotherapy or radiation treatments?

In the clinical observational study, there are no negative interactions observed between Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ or Dr. Lai’s ABC™ with either chemotherapy or radiation.  Most patients are able to tolerate Western conventional methods of cancer treatments better due to a strengthened immune, digestive and detoxification system from the effects of Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™.

Why is Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ beneficial to take while receiving Chemotherapy?

There are a number of Chinese herbal ingredients that have been historically used to improve blood quality, improve immune system and help the body to repair wounds. 
Our clinical observational study shows that patients who use Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ while undergoing Chemotherapy treatment have fewer side effects including nausea, body aches, mouth sores, loss of appetite, low grade fever, extreme tiredness and general malaise. It was also noted that their white and red blood cell counts are maintained in a good range, therefore allowing them to continue chemotherapy without interruption.

Can I still take Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ and Dr. Lai’s ABC™ before and after my surgery?

There are no concerns with taking Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ before and after any form of surgery.  However, Dr. Lai’s ABC™ should be discontinued one week prior to your surgery due to its slight blood thinning effect.  If the surgery went well, you can resume taking it at your recommended dosage 3-4 days post surgery.

Are Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ and/or Dr. Lai’s ABC™ safe?  Should I be worried about toxicity due to heavy metals and or pesticides?

In our clinical observation study there were no allergic reactions noted.  However, if you are usually sensitive to most medications and or herbs, it is recommended that you start at a lower dosage and work your way up to the recommended dosage.

Are there any side effects from taking Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ or Dr. Lai’s ABC™?

In our clinical observation study, there are no side effects from Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ or Dr. Lai’s ABC™.  Some patients may notice some abdominal discomfort or an increase in bowel movements that is usually due the liver detoxification effect.  However, the symptoms will subside within 1 to 2 weeks.  If they do not please speak with your health care practitioner as they may want to lower the dosage and slowly work you up to the recommended daily dosage.

                          
Should I tell my M.D. (oncologist) what I am doing with complimentary medicine?

This question can only be answered by you.  If you feel that it is in your best interest to tell your oncologist or your medical doctor that you are currently taking alternative medications then you should. However, if they are strictly against it and you feel that it will bring you more stress and conflict than benefit, then you do need to consider if telling them is the best option for you.

Are there any foods I should avoid ingesting while taking Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ and/or Dr. Lai’s ABC™?

There are not any specific foods you should avoid ingesting because you are taking Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ and/or Dr. Lai’s ABC™.  However, Dr. Sherman Lai recommends that all cancer patients follow a list of dietary recommendations designed specifically for them.

How long does it take for people to notice results from taking Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ and/or Dr. Lai’s ABC™?

Our studies indicate that most cases will show significant life quality improvement within 1-2 months (if not earlier).  Terminally ill patients often show life quality improvement within the first 7 days.

How long will I have to be on this product?

The length of treatment will vary for every individual depending on the type of cancer, the severity of the cancer as well as the overall health of the cancer patient.  However, every patient should try at least 3-4 months of treatment.  If they are responding well, long-term treatment according to individual needs is recommended.  Most cancer patients will stay on this product for life even after remission as a preventative measure (at a substantially lower dosage).

What is the recommended dosage for Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ and Dr. Lai’s ABC™?

Each tablet contains 0.5grams of the concentrated herbal remedy.  On average one tablet would be equivalent to approximately 2.8 kg or 6.2 lbs, therefore an adult that weighs 60kg/132lbs would need to take about 21 tablets a day.  The dosages are best to be taken in 3 or 4 divided dosages daily (give a smaller dosage more frequently if the patient has a difficult time swallowing).  Therefore a 60kg adult would take 7 tablets 3 times or 5 tablets 4 times daily.  However, if the patient’s health is severely compromised then the dosage would be increased by 20 to 30%.
 
There are no concerns when it comes to a maximum dosage with Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ or Dr. Lai’s ABC™. However, there are recommended dosages that should be taken in order to receive the maximum absorption, utilization and benefit of the product. We suggest 36 tablets per day is the maximum dosage that a person’s body can digest and absorb for the best results; either 6 tablets x 6 times per day or 9 tablets x 4 times per day.

Why do you have to take so many tablets?

All of the BioHerbaLai Inc. products including Dr. Lai’s Ai-Shin™ and Dr. Lai’s ABC™ are 100% all natural herbal formulas, they are not synthetic, therefore the concentration ratio has to follow the law of Mother Nature in order to avoid unnecessary unwanted side-effects. Higher concentration ratios (smaller and fewer tablets) would likely alter the natural synergistic effect of the herbs.
